The Pitch Lake & Wild Fowl Trust 

What an exciting way  to spend a day than to visit one of the world's natural miracles and one of our nation's unique attractions - the incredible Pitch Lake at La Brea. Situated in Trinidad's Deep Industrial South, you can go there and literally stroll on the Lake's surface. Here, you have the brilliant opportunity to find everything about the captivating substance called `asphalt'. On our way and on the outskirts of the city of San Fernando, we stop at the Wild fowl Trust which is situated on 30 hectares of land within Trinidad’s Major petrochemical and Oil refining Complex and encompassing two lakes, here you will have a definite shot at seeing many varied species of winged animals and unmistakable and numerous varied untamed life through the forest trails.
